In this 4- week online introductory class we will look at samples of Rika (Arabic Ruq’a) and get to know how to use the pen.
This is a good class for beginners or those wanting to get a feel for the Arabic alphabet. No prior experience necessary.
ONLINE The Art of Calligraphy Decoration: From Start to Finish with Nagihan Seymour
Oct 24- Nov 21 (Thursdays) | 12 pm - 2 pm ET
In this 5-week online course, students will decorate a calligraphy piece in the traditional method from start to finish. Students will also learn the traditional process of making and preparing paper for calligraphy and tezhip.
