Acanthus Leaves: Nature, Ornament & Design
3-week online art workshop with Lubna Zahid

This class explores the origins and evolution of acanthus leaves from classical art and architecture to Islamic and Indo-Persian ornament. Students will study the natural structure of the leaf and its graceful movement, then translate these observations into stylized decorative forms through drawing and design exercises.
